SACS Trucking is now Veneer Chip Transport, Inc.
On June 16th, 2022, Veneer Chip Transport, Inc. acquired substantially all assets including equipment and Real Property of SACS Trucking based in Missoula, Montana.
SACS is an industry leader in Wood residual hauling throughout the Northwest. SACS was started in 1989 to service company owned mills. In 2001 Larry Pfyffer and Dan Poling purchased SACS Trucking with roughly 18 trucks and through building strong relationships with customers grew to over 30 trucks in the fleet serving the great states of Montana, Idaho and Washington. This growth is due to the great leadership Dan, Larry and Jodie Lidstrom have displayed during the last 20 plus years. They have placed the right people in the right positions to allow continued sustainable growth while keeping a truly “family feel” environment.
Veneer Chip Transport, Inc. is excited to continue to build on the relationships that Dan and Larry have built over the years while honoring the SACS legacy of Safe And Courteous Service. While the equipment and properties will be rebranded to (VCT) Veneer Chip Transport, the excellent customer service will continue!
